2020 Lexus NX elevates the crossover market with luxurious features, hybrid trims

2020 Lexus NX
No matter how crowded the crossover market gets, the Lexus NX will always stand out from the competition. For 2020, the luxurious, well-appointed Lexus NX offers drivers a sophisticated way to conquer the open road.

The 2020 Lexus NX is available at six trim levels: NX 300, NX 300 F Sport, NX 300 Luxury, NX 300h, NX 300h Luxury and NX Black Line Special Edition.

Technology

Squinting to see your navigation instructions is a thing of the past when you opt for the available 10.3-inch multimedia display, which boasts a high-resolution picture and split-screen viewing. The Navigation System is voice activated, allowing you to find your way without taking your hands off the wheel. The available Mark Levinson® Premium Surround Sound Audio System, equipped with 14 speakers and 835 watts of high-quality power, will make you and your passengers feel like you’re in a moving concert hall. Staying connected on the road is an effortless endeavor with standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto smartphone integration, and your data is protected thanks to Lexus Enform Wi-Fi. Your connection to your Lexus NX is not broken when you exit the vehicle; remote access via the Lexus Enform Service Connect allows you to check on your crossover’s mileage, maintenance alerts and fuel from afar.

Performance

With the spin of a dial, you can customize your driving experience to match the terrain you’re on, so every journey is smooth and responsive. The Drive Mode Select switches between Sport, Normal, ECO, EV and Custom modes. Available all-wheel drive delivers even more control to your drive. The 2.0-liter turbo in-line four-cylinder engine is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid trims of the 2020 Lexus NX are powered by a 2.5-liter in-line four-cylinder engine that generates a total system horsepower rating of 194.

Design

Even utilitarian elements like roof rails are exquisitely sculpted to complement the sleek design of the 2020 Lexus NX, and its illuminated door handles are practical and sophisticated as well. Inside, the luxury and refined design continues with available elements such as heated and ventilated front seats; power-folding and reclining rear seats; a leather-trimmed shift knob; a heated steering wheel; the Lexus Memory System, which records settings of several drivers; power moonroof; and perforated leather-trimmed interior. Standard comfort features include dual-zone climate control and power front seats. Storage solutions and cargo space are ample in the cabin thanks to a storage bin in the front center console, self-gripping cup holders and power outlets in the rear and front.

Safety

The backup camera with dynamic gridlines gives you a better perspective when you’re reversing, and the available full-LED headlamps are not only beautifully styled, but they also offer intense lighting to illuminate your path and announce your presence to other drivers. The available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert easily reveals obstacles lurking in your blind spots. An often overlooked but vital safety system — your tires — are continually reviewed by the Direct Tire Pressure Monitor System.

The luxurious comfort, responsive performance and innovative tech of the 2020 Lexus NX create a driving experience like no other.
