Rodale Institute | Kutztown

Ever wondered what it’s like to tend to the land, plant crops, maintain compost, and more? Join Rodale Institute staff for a day of service at our Kutztown location. We need your help!

Kids and adults alike will not only get a day of hands-on farm experience in the fresh air, but will also learn about the basics of regenerative organic agriculture, why soil matters, and how the way we farm can impact much more than food.

Additionally, this event will feature live music, local artisans selling Earth-friendly goods, a food truck serving up organic lunch options, and plenty of activities for adults and kids of all ages: seed starting and other gardening projects, educational scavenger hunts, and more. We will also launch our new Volunteer Program. Sign up today!

There is no admission fee for this event. Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Please note: The entertainment and food portions of this event are open to all visitors, but only the volunteer opportunities will be available to those who register.

Please arrive at or before 1 1:00 AM. Park in the Visitor Center parking lot and meet the group in front of the store. For more information please email
