Wanted: Service Technicians

Growth in popularity of the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram products in recent years has created capacity issues in our service department that handles those brands. A trend of strong sales years has put increased pressure on our service team so it’s time to expand both the footprint of the facility as well as the number of trained technicians capable of providing quick and convenient maintenance and repairs to our customers.

Plans are in process to construct a 4,600 square foot addition to the service facility consisting of (7) service bays, a 40 ft addition to the customer service entrance as well as equipment and tool storage. Growth in the Hyundai brand, which shares service space with Chrysler, is also driving this change.

While increasing the footprint of the facility is important, recruiting quality technician candidates is a greater challenge. The auto industry as a whole is experiencing an unprecedented shortage of technicians. We have an aggressive goal of nearly doubling the size of our technician staff by the end of 2020. Needs for technicians range from highly skilled to those with some experience to entry level applicants that will be teamed up with a journeyman to learn the skills that will serve the variety of repair and maintenance needs of our customers. We offer very competitive wages, paid training and pay increases commensurate with skill development.
