Vehicle Details: 2020 Dodge Charger Design
Dodge Charger’s design is quintessential muscle
With up to 707 horsepower, the 2020 Dodge Charger is the most powerful four-door muscle car in America. But there’s a lot to enjoy about the car before you even step on the throttle, or even sit down inside. The Charger is, after all, not just extremely powerful; it’s also very good looking.
Muscle cars are defined by their style, and the 2020 Dodge Charger has plenty of it. Its roofline and overall shape are directly inspired by the iconic Chargers of the late 1960s, giving the car just the right amount of old-fashioned panache. Despite this, it’s unmistakably modern, with an LED halo around the trunk and bumper that give the Charger its unique taillight profile. The alloy wheels, which go up to 20 inches, are housed in large, muscular fenders. At the front, the hood scoop and dual air extractors help the engine stay cool while enhancing the Charger’s curb appeal. Depending on the trim you choose, the car may also boast a few cool details, like the HEMI® fender badge or the SRT® deck lid badge, the latter being one of the few things that may draw eyes away from the spoiler.
For all of its exterior flair and boisterous charm, the 2020 Dodge Charger’s interior is surprisingly understated by comparison. Its cockpit-like dashboard is clean and simple, angling all of the important bits toward the driver, such as the 8.4-inch touch-screen display and climate controls. The form-fitting seats are designed to be comfortable on long trips as well as supportive during spirited drives, and depending on the model, they’ll be wrapped in hounds-tooth cloth, Alcantara or genuine leather. The rear seats have generous leg, head and hip room, making it easy for even adults to get comfortable. In front of the driver, the 7-inch digital cluster display provides all key information and can even be configured according to your preferences, while a variety of steering wheel buttons ensure you never need to take your hands off the wheel to use many of the car’s functions.
Available widebody package
Looking for even more style? Behold the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT® Hellcat Widebody — not just the most powerful of all the Charger models but the best-looking too. Nothing says “707 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque” like ultra-wide fender flares. Adding 3.3 inches of width to the Charger, they are designed to accommodate 11-inch-wide, 20-inch-diameter wheels wrapped in the optional Pirelli® P Zero 305/35R20 tires. The widebody package goes a long way to accentuate the 2020 Dodge Charger’s menacing look, though in truth it’s offered on more than just the SRT® Hellcat. Those seeking to turn heads everywhere they go will also be able to get the package on the Charger Scat Pack, which boasts a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 under the hood.
There’s more to the 2020 Dodge Charger than just incredible power. When it comes to style, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a car with quite as much curb appeal.
